TRAIN IN THE US FOR A LONG-TERM CAREER IN AUSTRALIA
An exciting career awaits you at ASC, Australia’s submarine company – recently named as the sustainer and joint builder of conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines in Australia.
We will have many opportunities for skilled people to live, work and learn in the US at Pearl Harbor (Hawaii) for 2-3 years, with some roles completing placements at other locations throughout the USA during the full course of the assignment.
You’ll work on cutting-edge nuclear technology and undertake world-leading training, setting you up for a secure career back home in the conventionally-armed nuclear-powered submarine program – Australia’s largest-ever industrial endeavour.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To apply, applicants must:
- Be an Australian Citizen.
- Be willing to live and work overseas in the United States for between 12 months and 3 years, depending on the role.
- Be eligible for an NV1 Level Australian Defence Security Clearance.
- Be eligible to obtain an A2 working visa.
- Meet other specific deployment requirements, which ASC can speak to you about during the interview process.
